Ferrite Circulators and Isolators for Use in Wireless Infrastructures and DAS New from Pasternack

Irvine, CA January 15, 2014 -- Pasternack Enterprises, Inc., an industry leading manufacturer and global supplier of RF and microwave products, unveils new RF Circulators and Isolators, ideal for use in mobile infrastructure and distributed antenna systems (DAS). These new ferrite circulators and isolators cover many of the common communications bands including UHF, AMS, Tetra, Cellular, PCS, UMTS and LTE frequencies.

Pasternack’s 3-port RF circulators (also referred to as RF duplexers) control the signal direction and flow inside of an RF circuit. RF circulators are unidirectional and circulate the flow of energy from each port to its clockwise adjacent port. Like RF isolators, circulators are made of ferrite materials which determine the direction that the entering signal will flow. The new circulators are designed with SMA or Type-N connectors and operate between 380 MHz to 2.2 GHz, have maximum power ratings to 1,000 Watts and have up to 20 dB isolation.

New RF isolators from Pasternack are 2-port passive devices that help protect RF components from excessive power reflection. Ferrite isolators act as a unidirectional trap, isolating the signal so that any reflected energy at the load is trapped or dissipated. Just like the circulators, Pasternack’s RF isolators are designed with SMA or Type-N connectors and operate between 380 MHz to 2.2 GHz, have max power ratings to 1,000 Watts and have up to 20 dB isolation depending on the desired configuration.

“The new lines of ferrite circulators and isolators is an expansion of our existing product lines as we continue to add products that focus on market specific applications,” says Gerry Camacho, VP of Technical Marketing at Pasternack Enterprises, Inc. “Customers now have a choice between many different high performance band specific and broadband devices to address their needs.“

The new lines of RF isolators and circulators from Pasternack are in-stock and available now. You can view these new products by visiting http://www.pasternack.com/pages/Featured_Products/ferrite-rf-circulators-and-isolators.htm directly.  Pasternack can be contacted at +1-949-261-1920.
