Surfware Introduces New Marketing Department

Westlake Village, CA - Surfware Inc., developer of SURFCAM CAD/CAM Systems, lead by Terry Sorensen, Chief Executive Officer, announces the company's new Marketing Department. The department consists of seasoned veterans of the product development, technical sales, marketing analysis and media relations fields of expertise.

Formerly the Product Marketing Manager, Steve Crane will be leading the department as Director of Marketing. Upon receiving his Mechanical Engineering degree, Steve acquired 15 years of hands-on applied technical and sales experience in the CAD/CAM industry. Throughout his career path, he has maintained a vigilant "finger-on-the-pulse" to the manufacturer's needs and expectations of deliverables.

Steve's focus will continue to be in product marketing management, as well as new dynamic marketing programs, web-based programs and strategic partner relationships to improve customer/dealer satisfaction and drive business.

"With the SURFCAM Velocity series, we've been successful in branding our patent pending TrueMillTM toolpath engine. I am enthusiastic to increase market awareness of how TrueMill promotes maximum material removal rates while increasing cutting tool life," said Steve Crane.

Reporting to Steve Crane will be:

Steve Myers, Sales Engineer. Steve comes to Surfware after a 15 year career with PTC and PTC resellers.  An excellent public speaker, he has extensive experience in technical sales, training, and consulting in the CAD/CAM industry.  Prior to PTC, Steve worked as a design engineer for ESCO Corp.

Bryan Sullivan, Media Relations Manager. A newcomer to the industry, he brings with him over 20 years of successful sales/marketing management experience, business marketing analysis, media relations and technical marketing strategic planning with fortune 500 companies.
