Forest City and FaceCake Marketing Technologies Debut Swivel, the First Full-Motion, 3D, Virtual Dressing Room

CALABASAS, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — September 14, 2011 — Forest City Commercial Management, in partnership with FaceCake Marketing Technologies, Inc., is previewing a revolutionary, new technology at three of Forest City’s California regional malls that allows shoppers to try on a vast inventory of clothing and accessories from multiple stores via the first full-motion, 3D, real-time virtual dressing room— Swivel.

Utilizing cutting-edge technology, Swivel enables shoppers to virtually see themselves in countless choices of clothing and accessories and “swivel” to view the look from all angles on a large flat-screen monitor. Shoppers can even choose from multiple background scenes, and get a realistic 3D view of how their new outfit would look in different settings. Following their Swivel experience, shoppers can also share photos of their Swivel styles via Facebook, Twitter or email.

The Swivel preview features exclusive NIKOLAKI red carpet gowns by designer Nick Verreos for guests to try on virtually. Forest City’s partnership with FaceCake features Swivel at three of its Southern California regional mall locations.
