PLMIG calls for Benchmark Coaching Workshop dates

Oxford, England. February 16, 2012

Following last week's ( February 08) release in MCADCafe about the global PLM Governance Benchmark, companies including Alcon, BSH, Cassidian Air Systems, Draexlmaier, Gambro, MTD, MTU Aero Engines, Phoenix Contact, Thales Group and ZF have requested information about participating.

The next step is to set up a 2-day Benchmark Coaching Workshop, which Knorr-Bremse will host at their headquarters in Munich.

The aim is to hold the Workshop before Easter, on dates that are suitable for those who would like to participate. The PLM Interest Group is therefore inviting those who are interested in taking part to advise which dates they would prefer.

Companies based anywhere in the world are welcome to take part - we are starting in Munich simply because Knorr-Bremse is the first event host.

Full details are available on the PLMIG web site, and you can request a spreadsheet to advise of your own date preferences by contacting Roger Tempest at Email Contact.

It is developing a new generation of applied PLM standards including the PLM Best Practice Library and the Path to PLM, and has previously run workshops that have produced the PLM Benchmarking Handbook; the PLM-SCM Guidebook; and the PLM Maturity Reference Manual.
