As today’s project size, geographic distribution, and stakeholders have increased, so has the need for interface management. Projects can typically range from hundreds, if not thousands of interfaces. Without consistent control over these interfaces and the associated contractor responsibilities, project risk rises and the potential for project delays, cost overruns, and rework increases.

Owner organizations and major EPCs need to broaden their approach and proactively manage project interfaces to minimize these risks. Interface management offers a way to work the ‘white space’ that exists between contractors and get full control over all project interfaces.

This webinar will provide an introduction to interface management for EPC firms, owner/operators, and contractors tasked with the construction of large, complex, and often-modular based capital projects.

Kelly will share the challenges of implementing and incorporating a new Interface Management system and outline 3 key factors that have led to success for the leaders in the practice of interface management.
