MCA Summer Meeting Includes an Industry Panel Discussion on the Supply Chain and a Sustainability Presentation

CHICAGO – May 23, 2022 – The Metal Construction Association’s summer meeting, which is scheduled in Rosemont, Illinois June 13-15, will include a panel discussion on the global supply chain, a sustainability presentation, committee and council updates and social opportunities.

The feature event will be a panel discussion, “Impact of World Events on the Supply Chain.” The discussion will focus on current global events influencing business and the economy including shortages, inflation, and other conditions. The session will provide industry professionals with the insight to continue to thrive amidst increased challenges and costs.

The meeting will also include MCA council, committee, and alliance meetings. Standout presentations will include the Market Development Committee Update, showcasing industry trends and opportunities, and the Sustainability Presentation by Mark Thimons, vice president of sustainability at American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), long regarded as an authority on the topic.


The MCA Summer Meeting is open to everyone involved in the metal construction industry. Special discounts are available to member companies and first-time attendees.
