ASAE installs AIA EVP/Chief Executive Officer Lakisha Ann Woods as Board Chair

WASHINGTON – August 24, 2022 – Lakisha Ann Woods, CAE, AIA EVP/Chief Executive Officer, has been installed as Chair of the Board of Directors for The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).

ASAE’s officers for the coming year include Chair Lakisha Ann Woods, CAE, Chief Executive Officer, American Institute of Architects; Chair-Elect/Chair of the ASAE Research Foundation Lynda J. Patterson, FASAE, CAE, President and Owner, AMPED Association Management; Secretary-Treasurer Heidi Brock, President and CEO, American Forest & Paper Association; and Immediate Past Chair Steven Anderson, FASAE, CAE, IOM, President and CEO, National Association of Chain Drug Stores.

“I’m honored to serve as Board Chair in this pivotal moment in ASAE’s evolution,” Woods said. “Working with ASAE’s dynamic president and CEO, Michelle Mason, and a very committed, talented group of leaders on the ASAE Board, we will continue to advance ASAE’s strategic framework in support of this amazing, diverse community of association leaders. ASAE’s future is bright and the opportunities for further creative, agile leadership are limitless.”
