WINDSOR, Conn. (July 16, 2024)— In December 2023, Locana announced that it was acquired by TRC, a global leader providing environmentally focused and digitally powered solutions.
Founded in 2009, Locana supplies software products and services to solve the world’s most pressing business, climate and social challenges. The now-combined resources and expertise of the two companies makes TRC Companies the go-to consulting, engineering and construction partner to meet the unique challenges of the energy transition.
The acquisition significantly expands TRC’s technology business globally by incorporating Locana’s operations and large customer base throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe.
The Locana acquisition also brings software products to the TRC portfolio with Locana Lemur. An enterprise-grade mobile software solution, Lemur seamlessly delivers integrated, intuitive tools for work order management, asset management and more.
On July 26, 2024, the Locana brand will be phased out, marking the beginning of a new chapter. While Locana’s name will change, clients can expect to receive the same high-quality services and access to TRC’s broad range of digital solutions across the IT/OT landscape, as well as TRC’s traditional consulting, engineering, and construction services, all enhanced by location intelligence.
As we transition to the TRC brand, a few things will change, including:
- Locana’s Website– Information about Locana’s projects and services will be transitioned to the TRC website. Starting July 26, https://www.locana.co/ will redirect to the TRC website, which you can bookmark for future reference: trccompanies.com
- Locana’s Social Media Accounts– Locana’s LinkedIn page will be archived, but we will continue sharing updates on TRC’s LinkedIn page.
