U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Colonel Recounts New Orleans' Recovery Efforts in SolidWorks Podcast

—(BUSINESS WIRE)—April 4, 2007— SolidWorks
WHO: Colonel Lewis Setliff, III, 48th district engineer for the US
Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District. He was selected
to command Task Force Guardian, the team charged with
restoring the city's flood and hurricane protection system
        to pre-storm levels.

WHAT: Colonel Setliff rehashes the massive engineering challenges
the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers faced when teams entered the
city just days after Hurricane Katrina struck. More than 80
percent of the city was flooded, thousands of people were
stranded, and the Corps of Engineers only had months to ensure
220 miles of levees and floodwalls would be intact for the
next hurricane season beginning June 1.

DETAILS: Colonel Setliff's discussion is captured in a multimedia
SolidWorks podcast featuring videos of the flooding during
and after the storm and the reconstruction project.
