IceWEB's INLINE Division Announces Launch of New ManPac III Field Deployable System at ESRI International Users Conference

HERNDON, Va.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—August 6, 2008— IceWEB, Inc. (OTCBB: IWEB) www.IceWEB.com announced today that its INLINE division has launched the new ManPac III field deployable system to the Modular Lightweight Portable (MLP) family of products.

The IceWEB Modular Lightweight Portable (MLP) systems are designed to offer powerful, turnkey appliances that provide true server class devices coupled with high performance, modular data storage. The ability to provide systems for today's data intensive applications in the field is no longer a nicety -- it is a requirement.

Typical solutions deployed today are unable to support the performance needs and the data protection requirements in a single easily transportable system. Instead, they tend to be devices that were designed for the relative safety of a rack mounted data center strapped into a plastic box and called "field-ready".

In response to IceWEBs INLINE divisions clients specific request for a modular system that supports true server level performance and fully functional RAID array capabilities in a lighter (under 70 pounds) configuration, IceWEB/INLINE designed the lightweight MLP systems to provide true enterprise level computing and storage abilities in an easily moved lightweight system that can move from one location to another without the use of forklifts or multiple personnel.

Randall K White Director of Engineering for IceWEB's INLINE division, said, "The IceWEB MLP systems offer easily transportable, scalable, high performance appliances designed to support the demands of today's enterprise class applications in the field. The IceWEB MLP systems are expandable and designed to offer an immediate solution to expand and enhance our clients' abilities to deploy and operate in the field just as if they were in the comfort of their offices. By using the baseline configurations the MLP systems is configured to include any element that our field based clients seeks.

Designed to provide ease of deployment that meets the entire spectrum of data availability challenges and enterprise data accessibility needed in the field, these systems provide a total solution comprised of hardware, software, and services for the companys clients, thereby reducing costly downtime and maximizing access to mission-critical data.

The MP3 is the newest addition to the MLP line, designed to support mobile command centers and other field-deployed situations. Its unique all-in-one integrated design with keyboard, mouse, displays, and storage are conveniently packaged into a field deployable unit. By designing the system with all of the needed components as a single unit, it allows clients to "pick up and move" when they need to, not when the truck arrives. The MP3 has three high-resolution LCD screens fully integrated within the rugged construction to support the most intensive visual applications in the field. By incorporating them into the solid construction, they are fully protected when stored for transportation and still provide high resolution and fast response needed by true enterprise applications.

IceWEB's MLP systems have been designed so that a single system can add storage nodes to provide enterprise data protection and capacity as needed for a specific application. Built using heavy-duty metal construction to provide tough, go-anywhere mobility with its extra-rugged construction to sustain the impacts, shocks, and day-to-day rigors of the field, MLP systems provide a cost-effective, powerful, durable and efficient portable data solution for your needs.

The scalability and affordability of the MLP system is provided by unique modular storage architecture. Storage capacity may be increased independently based on business needs. MLPs MP2 systems accomplish storage scalability through the implementation of MP3 and can if needed attach to existing storage devices.
