Take Part in the PLM Delivery Survey - but don't send in the results

Oxford, England. July 23 2015 -- The PLMIG is running the definitive Global Survey of the issues, metrics and parameters of PLM Delivery.

The primary question at the heart of the Survey is: "Does the Customer Get What He Pays For when he buys PLM?".

The answers to this Survey are likely to be quite contentious. There are many different opinions about how PLM is delivered, and whether projects meet the expectations that were set. You may find that some of the answers are too confidential to be sent to a Survey coordinator, even if the coordinator is the PLMIG.

That is why the PLMIG does not want you to send in the answers. You should complete the Survey to create a clear picture of the parameters that affect PLM success or failure in your business - and you should keep that picture for internal use for the time being.

At this stage the PLMIG is looking for Comments and Feedback, which is the last page of the Survey. This will help to identify the main parameters for a new PLM Delivery structure.

The next step will be for the PLMIG to organise face-to-face meetings in October, where you will be able to discuss your Survey findings in a safe environment with other PLM practitioners.

The PLM Delivery Survey can be downloaded from the PLMIG web site. More information about the initiative is available via Email Contact.
