EON Reality and KOGNITIV Hungary Launch Interactive 3D Learning Applications for Interactive Boards

DABAS, HUNGARY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Oct 26, 2011 -- EON Reality, the world's leading interactive 3D software provider, and KOGNITIV Hungary announced today the launch of virtual learning applications for interactive boards which are now installed or being installed in most European schools. Interactive boards offer a wide range of benefits for the education and even for the business sector as well. Like interactive boards, 3D visualization equipments incorporated with high quality 3D models have also many advantages.

Selling figures of 3D systems show similar trends as it happened to interactive boards. "Since the user group of these two applications is nearly the same, it seemed to be a good idea to combine their benefits by creating a completely new application," said Gyula Kosztolányi, Chief Executive Officer, KOGNITIV Hungary.

Using EON Studio, the standard control functions (keyboard and mouse) were completed by adding to it the interactive board's pen as a new control tool. This way the interactive board along with a 3D stereo model complements each other and the outcome is a high quality, user friendly, completely new application. Virtual learning applications were presented during the HunDidac Exhibition and received great feedback from the participants including teachers, headmasters and education equipment distributors.

"Teachers are now quite familiar with interactive boards. These new interactive 3D learning applications are the best way for teachers to have a smooth transition to 3D technologies and improve the learning experience," said Pierre-Julien Barraud, Business Development Director Europe, EON Reality.

Interactive 3D learning applications for interactive boards are available for download on EON Experience Portal, http://www.eonexperience.com/EonModel/Main.aspx.
