MachineWorks Simulation

SHEFFIELD - April 12, 2012 – MachineWorks Ltd, leading provider of CNC simulation and verification component software will be exhibiting and showing its latest multi-axis simulation engine at SIMTOS in hall 8 on stand number B431.

The current version of MachineWorks saw the launch of a new 5-axis sampling engine, Samplecut. Using sampling technology means that the memory usage is not dependant on the number of cuts of the toolpath but on the grid resolution when defining the stock. Samplecut has also been written to take advantage of multi-core processors, resulting in an attractive combination of performance and low memory consumption.

MachineWorks' latest release also extended significant elements of internal multithreading to other engines in its suite, allowing customers to benefit from remarkable speed increases when running on multi-core CPUs.

“Our customers are very excited about MachineWorks' latest engine. We have heard nothing but positive feedback”, says Mike Nicholson, Sales Director.

The next version of MachineWorks, which will be released this summer, will include a seamless integration of Samplecut inside MachineWorks' most versatile engine, Visicut. Customers with multi-axis applications will be able to access the new technology enjoying all its benefits but with minimal development effort.

The combination of these two engines, will offer an incredible tool to efficiently tackle any job, big or small, complex or simple, and provide accurate and fast simulation.
