Magellan Active's Dashboard gives multisport athletes a single location for viewing all of their performance activities. Users have total control of their data and the ability to quickly search through all of their activities with a range of filters. Activity analysis is easy with summaries, lap comparisons and easy-to-read maps and charts. Multisport athletes can record each segment on their Switch GPS watch, upload the data to Magellan Active, and then view all of the segments with a single view. This 'True Multisport' experience presents multisport activities naturally with a single view of the entire activity and the ability to drill into each segment such as swimming, biking, running and transitions.

Magellan Active makes it easy for athletes to share information about their events and performance data. Users receive their own Magellan Active profile page, which can be made private or public for sharing activities and reports. Magellan Active also includes social features so users can easily post their activities to Facebook and Twitter.
Users can export performance data using common file formats including FIT, CSV, GPX and KML. Magellan Active also launches the Magellan Active Developer API (active.magellangps.com/developer) which allows third-party websites and applications to access activity data with customer permission.
Switch and Switch Up GPS Watches Now Available
The Magellan Switch series (
magellangps.com/Switch) of crossover GPS watches are now available from Magellan's authorized online and retail partners. The Switch GPS watch (MSRP: $229.99 or $279.99 with Heart Rate Monitor) is a powerful fitness training device packed with innovative features that include nine customizable sport profiles, easy-to-read high resolution display, eight hours of battery life, a high sensitivity GPS receiver, 50 meter water resistance, and compatibility with ANT+™ sensors. Designed primarily for runners, it is also a crossover watch that is convertible for multisport needs.
The Switch Up GPS watch (MSRP: $299.99 or $349.99 with Heart Rate Monitor) has the same powerful features as the Switch GPS watch but also includes a barometric altimeter for precise elevation data, a thermometer to monitor and capture outside temperature, vibration alerts for notification in louder environments, and an innovative quick release mounting system to easily transition between sports.
The Switch Series includes innovative features including 'Activity Pacer', which not only shows runners if they are on target with their goal, but provides specific targets to attain the desired result. For endurance athletes, Magellan offers an optional Battery Extender Pack that provides 16 hours of additional battery life for a total of 24 hours.
