GeoDecisions Names Jensen and Saltzer Directors

July 23, 2012 -- (Harrisburg, Pa.) GeoDecisions, an information technology (IT) company specializing in geospatial solutions, is pleased to announce that Brian L. Jensen, GISP, and Thomas L. Saltzer have been named directors.

Based in GeoDecisions’ Madison, Wis., office, Jensen leads the firm’s business activities throughout the Midwest. He oversees the implementation of technology solutions, including mobile and enterprise geospatial applications. In addition, Jensen serves as president of Fishidy.com, GeoDecisions’ joint venture with Fishing Hot Spots®. Fishidy.com is the premier map-based social network for anglers nationwide.

Jensen holds a bachelor of science in geography from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and is a member of various geospatial information systems (GIS) and technology organizations, including the Capital Entrepreneurs, Accelerate IT, and the Wisconsin Land Information Association. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the United Way of Dane County's Business Volunteer Network in Wisconsin. Jensen is a resident of Madison, Wis.

Saltzer brings more than 32 years of experience in the IT industry to his role as director. Based in the firm’s corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., Saltzer leads the operations and business development of GeoDecisions’ transportation and transit client base, bringing a fresh perspective to what is already a solid business practice for GeoDecisions. His subject matter expertise, along with his extensive IT business operations, IT solutions delivery, and IT sales experience will guide GeoDecisions’ growth in the transportation and transit market sectors.

Saltzer holds a bachelor of science in computer science from Millersville University and a master of business administration from West Chester University. He is a resident of Lancaster, Pa.
