PLMIG confirms Atlanta PLM-ERP Agenda to dovetail with PLM Innovation Americas

Oxford, England. September 17, 2012

Following the initial announcement of the PLM-ERP Workshop in Atlanta, USA from 24-26 October 2012, the PLM Interest Group has published the 3-day Agenda that dovetails with the PLM Innovation Americas Congress.

The Atlanta Workshop is the second in a series of three events that will give PLM and ERP specialists the chance to work together and to generate a neutral, globally-applicable PLM-ERP Handbook. The first event takes place in Bristol, UK in September, and the third will be hosted by ZF Friedrichshafen in November.

In Atlanta the focus will be on the American viewpoint, and the PLM-ERP issues of American companies.  The PLM-ERP Workshop begins the day before the PLM Innovation Americas Congress, and so the Day 1 Agenda is identical to the Bristol and Friedrichshafen events. Timings for Day 2 and Day 3 have been matched to dovetail with the Congress programme.

This means that, as well as being an integral part of the industry-wide formalisation of PLM-ERP, Atlanta delegates can also see the PLM Innovation keynotes and take part in the Congress networking.

The Workshops have a completely interactive, 3-day format, and will use real PLM-ERP issues and examples as the raw material to generate a definitive neutral solution. User companies may therefore find it valuable to send colleagues from both backgrounds.  Vendors, integrators and consultants are also welcome, as the best solution will come with involvement from all parts of the industry.

Registration for Atlanta is now open.  Full details can be found on the PLMIG web site, or via .
