BURLINGTON, MA – September 27, 2012, Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan, a leader in the Taiwanese High Tech and Clean Energy Research initiatives, has partnered with SoftInWay on a new major undertaking: to break the efficiency frontier and to develop a new and innovative type of ORC Turbine.
The SoftInWay engineering team will leverage their years of experience and AxSTREAM software to complete the conceptual design, analysis and multidisciplinary optimization of the machine.
ITRI’s Team will leverage its extensive engineering expertise, innovative ideas and manufacturing capabilities. The ORC market is heating up, and major players are finding new and interesting applications for the technology as well as learning to use different type of gasses such as Ammonia and CO2. The companies hope that together they can deliver a superior solution to the market.
