(DCS) and InspectionXpert Corporation are pleased to announce that the QDM Quality Management System will deliver extended data integration with InspectionXpert Corporation for streamlining the First Article Inspection Report authoring and management. This integration will allow FAIR’s, PPAP’s and other inspection documents authored in InspectionXpert to be managed along with production quality data in a single enterprise quality intelligence system.

QDM, the DCS Quality Management System, is used by manufacturers to identify and address product non-conformances, improve process capability and provide traceability for components produced and delivered from their manufacturing plants and supply chains.

In the aerospace and defense industries, regulatory requirements define strict documentation processes for First Article Inspections, including the completion of AS9102 Forms. The documentation and reporting process is often manual, time consuming, and complicated. By integrating InspectionXpert powerful ballooning, OCR and data extraction software with QDM’s extensive data management authoring tool resources, companies can reduce the time to create inspection documentation and simplify the ability to track, communicate and archive this data through the entire manufacturing process.
