FE-DESIGN releases TOSCA Structure 7.3 including TOSCA Extension for ANSYS Workbench

E-DESIGN presents its new software version TOSCA Structure 7.3 with graphical user interfaces for fast and easy integration of optimization into the product development process.

Karlsruhe, Germany, April 23rd 2013 - Today, FE-DESIGN is announcing the latest release of TOSCA Structure, a part of the TOSCA optimization suite. TOSCA Structure 7.3 comes with two new and substantially revised graphical user interfaces for easy and fast interaction within the simulation and optimization process.

TOSCA ANSA environment (TAe): With the new 'TOSCA ANSA environment (TAe)', TOSCA Structure 7.3 addresses all users defining optimization tasks interactively on the FE-model. For this definition full featured optimization templates can be used. In this newly revised GUI all new product features of TOSCA Structure are included, e.g. extended functions like 'mesh independent symmetry restrictions for shape optimization' are supported.

TOSCA Extension for ANSYS Workbench: Integration of TOSCA Structure.topology into the ANSYS Workbench. For an implementation of optimization strategies from within the familiar workbench environment without any manual data transfer. TOSCA Extension for ANSYS Workbench is free of charge for customers with licenses for TOSCA Structure and ANSYS Workbench.

TOSCA Structure 7.3 contains additional new features for the design and optimization of lightweight, stiff and durable parts and assemblies within shorter development cycles.

Chavdar Georgiev, TOSCA Structure product manager states: "The objective for this new TOSCA Structure 7.3 version was to further facilitate a complete integration of optimization into the product development process. This corresponds to customer requests to make optimization results available as fast and easy as possible. Together with a consequent product quality approach as well as customer-oriented development of new functionalities this defines our product strategy."

TOSCA Structure 7.3 is now available from FE-DESIGN and its international resellers.
