Surfcam Resellers from around the world had their first glimpse into the future at Vero Software's Americas Reseller Conference held earlier this week in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Having recently been acquired by Vero, the Resellers inevitably had many questions for the new owners.
Surfcam's number one Reseller, Erwin Eggert of 3D Concepts in Germany commented "Many of us have over 15 years invested in Surfcam and hundreds of loyal customers in our markets, so it was great to get to know Vero a little. I am now very confident in the future of Surfcam, which is good for my business and my customers".
Surfcam Resellers attending the event had the opportunity to discuss existing and new functionality with Vero's management, as well as reviewing several of Vero's other products. This Arizona conference was the second of 3 planned for Vero's Global Reseller Community, which started in Prague and wraps up next month with an event in Bangkok, Thailand.
"Somewhat understandably there are always going to be rumors and uncertainty following an acquisition, but continuing the development of Surfcam is strategically important to Vero. The brand has very loyal customers and Resellers around the world, so we intend to repay this with strong product releases for the years to come" said Steve Sivitter, Vero's Regional Director for the Americas and President of Surfcam Inc.
Long time Surfcam Reseller Don McKillop of CAMCAD Technologies added "This was a great event for us. We were really encouraged by what we heard and more importantly saw at the conference. Chatting with other Vero Resellers was also very comforting; these guys really are very professional".
