Si2 Announces DAC Booth Presentations

AUSTIN, Texas — (BUSINESS WIRE) — May 23, 2013 — The Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2) will be highlighting its many standards activities through presentations at Booth #1427 at the Design Automation Conference (DAC) to be held in Austin, TX from June 2-6. The first series of presentations, to be held at the top of each hour, will feature member companies addressing specific new Si2 standards which have been published or are in process. These standards and companies include:

OpenAccess & Scripting Interfaces: IBM, Altera, Si2
OpenDFM 2.0: IBM, Texas Instruments
Open Parasitics Extraction (OPEX): Cadence, Synopsys
Universal Layer Modeling (ULM): Intel, Si2
Open Process Specification (OPS): STMicroelectronics, Mentor Graphics
Low-Power Modeling: IEEE, Docea Power, NC State
Open3D - Power Distribution Network (PDN): Apache (ANSYS)
Silicon Photonics: Phoenix BV, IMEC

The second group of presentations at the bottom of the hour, will feature member companies discussing how their products incorporate and benefit from Si2 standards. These will include presentations from Cadence, Spectral Design & Test, and Pulsic.

Si2 is also holding the Si2 25th Anniversary Luncheon Celebration on June 3 in Room 9ABC in the Austin Convention Center at 12 noon. Later that day at 4:30 the Annual Si2 Open Reception will be held in the same room. Refreshments will be provided. Both events are free of charge.
