Dimensional Control Systems to Attend RTT Excite 2013 | Detroit

DCS to rollout new integration for high end visualization

June 18, 2013 - Troy, MI – Dimensional Control Systems, Inc. (DCS) will be presenting at RTT’s Excite 2013 on June 20 – 21, 2013 at RTT’s new office in Royal Oak, Michigan. This event will deliver the newest advances in high end visualization solutions, as well as feature talks by industry experts on design, development and marketing innovations across the visualization platform.

DCS will be demonstrating a new integration between 3DCS Variation Analyst Multi-CAD, DCS’s tolerance and variation analysis software, and RTT’s high end visualization platform. This new integration gives users the ability to produce 3D interactive models of their products in life like photo realistic studies that visually show manufactured variation. These quickly customizable models are perfect for use in perceived quality studies and design decision making. In addition, being able to view products as a customer would, while taking into account the variation of manufacturing processes, will allow engineers to see how their tolerance strategies will affect the product early in the design process.

DCS’s Graphic Design Artist and Visualization Specialist, Scott Para, will be presenting a demonstration of this new integration, showing how easy it is to generate high quality graphics from a 3DCS model in just a few minutes. In addition, he will show how by first creating a series of Spec Studies in 3DCS, the user can create a multitude of differing visual iterations of the product to compare specifications.

Peter Stevenson (CEO) RTT USA shared this, "DCS offers a great tool that supports efficient and reliable validation of perceived quality. This solution is a great improvement on traditional methods previously used for testing complex tolerance situations.  We're pleased to have them in the demo line-up for Excite | Detroit and are convinced visitors will be impressed when they experience the technology first-hand."
