Real Intent’s Graham Bell Promoted to Vice President of Marketing

Spearheads worldwide marketing of company’s best-in-class technology for accelerating advanced sign-off of electronic designs

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – July 1, 2013 Dr. Prakash Narain, president and CEO of Real Intent, Inc.,  the leading provider of EDA software to accelerate early functional verification and advanced sign-off of digital designs, today announced the promotion of Graham Bell to vice president of Marketing, effective immediately. Reporting to Prakash, Graham is responsible for corporate marketing, public relations, and industry partnerships. Since joining Real Intent in May 2012 as senior director of marketing, he has helped the company double its revenue, increase its customer base by more than 20 percent, and be fully on track to achieve more than 100-percent annual growth this year.

“Graham Bell infuses ingenuity and drive into our marketing efforts, and does an exceptional job making our voice loud and proud in the design community,” said Prakash. “Now major semiconductor companies in storage, computing, networking, communications and consumer electronics industries know the value of our best-in-class solutions and rely on them to verify the advanced ASIC and SoC designs for their leading-edge electronic products, eliminating complex failure modes. With Graham’s solid corporate marketing expertise, creativity, zest, good humor and dedication, he has proven to be an invaluable member of our team.”

An experienced EDA marketing strategist and avid blogger prior to joining Real Intent, Graham previously was Director of Sales and Marketing at IBSystems, home of the EDACafe.com web site. Earlier in his career he served the EDA industry in senior marketing roles at Extreme DA, at Nassda, which he brought to an IPO, and at Synopsys. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree in computer hardware from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.

“Prakash feels the only way to keep up with the SoC technology explosion is to deliver best-in-class solutions,” said Graham.  “That’s exactly what I’ve experienced since joining Real Intent. For example, our Meridian CDC product for comprehensive clock domain crossing analysis that last year could handle full-chip designs in excess of 100-million gates flat now has a giga-scale capacity and is the only solution that enables all aspects of CDC sign-off. It’s exciting to be part of the team that makes such tremendous technological strides accelerating early functional verification and advanced sign-off. I look forward to keeping our partners and customers well informed and further contributing to Real Intent’s vibrant growth.”
