Accela Automation is a web-based application that utilizes an open architecture and a centralized database, allowing information to be shared across departments while improving communication between office and field workers, citizens, business and other key stakeholders. It provides a complete solution for automating critical tasks associated with planning entitlements, building permits, improvement plans, fire permits, and code enforcement.
In addition to the launch of Accela Automation, Roseville will leverage two additional solutions to support the permitting process:

Accela Citizen Access: enables citizens, building contractors and tradespeople search for, submit and pay for permit applications.
- Accela GIS: provides agency staff with an easy way to interact with GIS data through integration with their Esri or Internet maps.
