July 16, 2013 - Missler Software will exhibit TopSolid’Cam, its innovative CAM software, at EMO Hannover 2013 with a 100 square-meter booth. Staged under the theme of "Intelligence in Production", the trade fair will take place from 16-21 September at the Hannover Exhibition Center, Germany. Missler Software will of course participate on this fair with its leading German speaking resellers: Moldtech, AdeQuate Solutions, WeSt and NCDATA.
Held every two years, EMO Hannover is the world’s leading trade fair for the metalworking sector, with a special focus on industrial development trends and technological advances in terms of CAD/CAM software, machine tools, manufacturing systems, precision tools, automated materials flows, computer technology, industrial electronics and accessories.
TopSolid’Cam will be showcased in Hall 25 at Stand J16 where the Missler Software team and its local partners will be happy to provide visitors with all the information and support they need, including customized demonstrations and presentations of features available within the latest version of the software.
Here are some of TopSolid’Cam’s new functionalities which will be presented on this show and will enable users to machine parts more quickly and with increased precision:
- "Spinning Machining" – Spinning operations are supported: these turning operations are performed with a round insert cutter. The combined rotation of the tool and the part provides better thermal control of the tool and results in extended tool life. Cutting conditions are significantly improved, enabling users to benefit from high productivity gains.
- Trochoidal Grooving – This function makes it easier to machine deep grooves in extremely hard materials.
- VoluMill Strategies – VoluMill’s well-known strategies are now integrated into TopSolid’Cam and result in longer cutting-tool life, reduced forces on the machine, as well as dramatically reduced chip-to-chip times (up to 70% in some cases).
- Automatic Tilting – 5-axis users will appreciate the new automatic tilting mode, which will help them avoid all potential collisions with the tool and the tool holder.
