According to research findings, total consumption of plastics in the world is estimated at over 200 million tons annually and projected to grow by 2% each year. Everywhere you look, you will find plastics. You will find plastics in the house we live in, the office we work in, the cars we travel in, the toys we play with, the television we watch, etc. This trend brings a huge growing potential of plastics industry and demand for top product and mold designers. As CAE is currently an essential tool for product design and development, it is also an important technique for any engineer to stand out among others. Based on this, CoreTech System (Moldex3D), a dedicated engineering CAE company, hosts 2013 Moldex3D Global Innovation Talent Award Contest to discover and encourage CAE talents to create higher value for the industry.
