WebGLPublisher Export for Autodesk Revit puts 3D models on the Net

Summary: Following the release of WebGL-Publisher Software, which is used for 3D interpretation of geometry files, the developer CADMAI Software now raises the bar even higher. Effective immediately the new Windows software WebGL-Publisher Export for Autodesk® Revit® is available.

The add-in to the architecture program Revit® by Autodesk® helps to interpret already existing architectural models and publish them as 3D models on the Internet. Users of the architectural program Autodesk® Revit® take advantage of WebGL-Publisher as an add-in to put architectural models, which have been designed with Revit® 2013 or 2014 (32 and 64 Bit), in 3D on the Web. The geometric figures may be viewed on any WebGL enabled browser, without having to install additional software. When exporting architectural models the add-in creates a 3D model in its own WebGL-Publisher format. It also adds a HTML file, plus the entire infrastructure that is needed to display the model. All files are copied collectively into a previously specified target directory.

Compared to existing Cloud solutions, which illustrate the model on proprietary websites, the application of WebGL-Publisher offers the following advantages: - No original data is being uploaded to remote servers. This ensures that the intellectual property always remains with the originator. - No time needs to be spent on uploading files. 3D models are created directly in the specified target directory. - No dependency on external providers and portals exists. - The model, the HTML file and the created infrastructure may be utilized freely - on the Intranet, or a Web Shop, on social networks, on Web Shop, on social networks, on homepages, or in any Cloud solution.

WebGL-Publisher: Complete control over the design Users of WebGL-Publisher remain in complete control of the created design. The add-in generated HTML page, which contains the 3D architectural model, is basically just a suggestion. Models may be easily integrated into any internal HTML pages. The Windows software can be tested without charge, and without any functional limitations, for a period of 30 days.

Anyone that would like to continue using Add-in WebGL-Publisher after the trial period, may obtain the full version for 150 Euro.  Homepage: http://www.webgl-publisher.com/ Contact: CADMAI Software GmbH, Hainstr.22, 90461 Nürnberg, Germany Internet: http://www.cadmai.com
