BWIR Welcomes Misty Rains as Regional Account Manager

ST. LOUIS — August 5, 2013 — Jim Webb, Vice President and Senior Partner of Global Engineering and PTC Product Development Solutions at BWIR, a Barry-Wehmiller company, has announced the appointment of Misty Rains to the position of Regional Account Manager .

Rains joins the team with over 13 years of experience in sales and marketing, where her experiences ranged from managing multiple projects in different stages, keeping clients and internal sales teams up-to-date of current technology trends, and executing different strategies to meet business objectives to servicing undeveloped territory. As part of the BWIR team, Rains will manage the communications link between the delivery team and the customer, maintaining dialogue with customers after the initial project’s completion and encouraging development of follow-up projects. Rains  has extensive experience in relationship management, operations, territory planning and negotiations.

Rains completed PTC Sales Training Courses for Windchill, Creo, Quality Solutions, Arbortext, and PLM. Most recently she completed Force Management training presented by John Kaplan. She earned her Associate Degree in Applied Science from Moraine Valley Community College, in Palos Hills, IL.
