ModuleWorks and ISG show Offline Simulation at EMO 2013

September 13, 2013 - ModuleWorks, the leading supplier of CAD/CAM components for 3-5-Axis toolpath generation and simulation, has confirmed its partnership with ISG and will provide simulation technology to be integrated into ISG software.

ModuleWorks have been providing software components for simulation and verification to the CAD/CAM industry for almost a decade and provide this technology to many leading CAD/CAM vendors.

ModuleWorks and ISG will collaborate to integrate simulation into the ISG real-time simulation tool called ISG Virtuos.  They will jointly demonstrate this simulation solution on the ModuleWorks booth at the EMO 2013 trade show, held in Hannover, Germany, September 16-21, 2013 in Hall 25, Booth no. L 12.

Jens Beissel, Marketing Manager for ModuleWorks comments, “It is always good to have our partners exhibit with us at these major trade shows. We’re particularly excited about the possibilities of this new collaboration to provide simulation to a new range of users”.

About ModuleWorks

ModuleWorks is a software component provider for the CAD/CAM industry. ModuleWorks’ expertise in 5-Axis simultaneous machining and Simulation is recognized throughout the CAM industry and its software components and development services are used by the majority of the leading CAM vendors. ModuleWorks 5-Axis and Simulation software has been used in the manufacture of complex parts for over a decade and they have many users in the global CAD/CAM industry.

About ISG

ISG provide software for industrial control and automation technology and provide two software products. ISG-kernel is integrated software for the control of robots, tool, wood working, plasma and jet cutting machines (CNC) as well as packing and textile machines (MC). ISG-Virtuos is a real-time simulation tool used by machine and plant manufacturers. Real controls (CNC, RC, Motion or PLC) are connected via fieldbus to a simulation-PC for Hardware-in-the-Loop-Simulation. Such systems allows a great benefit in case of virtual setup, rapid prototyping, quality of applications, training, collision detection, a. s. o. based on a time-deterministic real-time platform.
