RuleDesigner enriches its portfolio of 2D and 3D CAD connectors for its low cost PDM solution. RuleDesigner PDM Express, already integrated with SolidWorks, Inventor and Solid Edge, is now available for Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire, PTC Creo 1.0 and 2.0.

ENGINEERING PLM Solutions today announced that, thanks to the enhanced CAD connectors portfolio, RuleDesigner PDM Express – the solution designed for companies that are looking for a cost-effective solution for product data management - is now available for Pro/ENGINEER and PTC Creo users.
RuDesigner PDM Express, starting from 490 euro/year, allow users to design an homogeneous part-numbering method in short times thanks to a driven parametric classification and to part-numbers automatic generation. In addition, it gives user the possibility to have a centralized repository of data, well structured and organized in folders, as well as configurable part-number approval workflows and title-blocks automatic filling in with customized properties.
Moreover, by integrating the additional module “Automation”, users have access to a BOM management environment, with functionalities to export data and synchronize them with external systems. Also, an environment is available to run batch operations, such as: printing lists of files, extracting and storing multiple files, file conversions, title-blocks and properties relocations.
Henceforth, Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire and PTC Creo users can benefit from RuleDesigner’s functionalities and directly access them by using the toolbar available within the CAD environment.
