Dexter + Chaney Sponsors Industry’s Premiere Construction Equipment Management Program

SEATTLE, October 14, 2013: For the third consecutive year, Seattle based construction software provider Dexter + Chaney ( www.dexterchaney.com) has been selected as the exclusive software sponsor for the Construction Equipment Management Program (CEMP)

Designed for equipment managers, operations specialists, and financial managers, CEMP is an intensive executive-level program that provides attendees with the tools, techniques and ideas to improve fleet management and increase return on investment. The weeklong program is offered twice a year and is led by Dr. Mike Vorster, David H. Burrows Professor Emeritus at Virginia Tech.

"It is a privilege to once again be a sponsor of CEMP," said John Chaney, President. "Our association with CEMP and Mike Vorster has helped us design construction equipment management software that addresses the most important aspects of equipment management and the most pressing needs of equipment and fleet managers."

This year Dexter + Chaney has also been invited to provide a Blue Ribbon speaker as part of the CEMP curriculum. Wayne Newitts, Director of Marketing for Dexter + Chaney, will present a session on converging technologies and how they are changing the construction job site. “The confluence of cloud computing, improved mobile connectivity, and new types of software presents contractors with a great opportunity to streamline field operations,” said Newitts. “It’s a privilege to speak to some of the country’s leading contractors to help them better understand and take advantage of new information technology.”
