Intergraph(R) Webinar on November 12th to Demonstrate How to Build a Project With New CADWorx(R) E&I for Electrical and Instrumentation Design

HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- Nov 06, 2013 -- Intergraph will host a webinar on November 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. CT that will demonstrate how to build a project from scratch with CADWorx E&I and show how the software can accelerate the design, creation, and management of electrical and instrumentation deliverables. The webinar will demonstrate how to import data from an Excel® source file; create a new AutoCAD Slide (SLD) file using an AutoCAD dxf file; create a new intelligent library symbol for use in the new SLD; and copy standard electrical and instrument templates, existing loops and loop elements from other source project into the drawing. The webinar will also cover how to create reports and use assembly macros.

CADWorx E&I links information associated with all items in the database for tracking changes and managing data, and it lets you store and reuse the arrangements and circuitry you create on multiple projects, all with full intelligence. Users report that the software's automation tools and data intelligence and the consistency and speed they provide can save them up to 30-40% in the cost of rework. The webinar leader will be Ron Williams from the Intergraph CADWorx E&I product group.
