MecSoft Releases VisualCAM 2014 for SolidWorks

Irvine, CA, December 13,  2013:   MecSoft Corporation, the developer of industry leading CAD/CAM software solutions, has announced the availability of VisualCAM 2014 for SolidWorks, a major version release for MecSoft’s integrated CAM solution for SolidWorks.

VisualCAM 2014 for SolidWorks includes 2 CAM modules known as VisualCAM-MILL for SolidWorks, and VisualCAM-TURN for SolidWorks, each of which run integrated inside the SolidWorks CAD program and can be bought and licensed independent of each other. The TURN module is a new module that is being introduced with the 2014 release. The MILL module was significantly enhanced and improved in this 2014 release to provide customers with a powerful and complete manufacturing platform.   With the introduction of the TURN module, the earlier product name VisualMILL for SolidWorks has now been changed to VisualCAM for SolidWorks.

"This release is an important release for MecSoft, in that we are releasing a complete CAM product integrated inside SolidWorks.  This CAM product features a brand new TURN module and also a greatly improved MILL module.  With this new functionality together with the seamless integration inside SolidWorks, we continue to provide leading edge manufacturing capabilities for SolidWorks users worldwide.” stated Joe Anand, President and CEO of MecSoft Corporation.
