exentra and TFTLabs: new Web solution for large product structure management in 3D

December 18, 2013 - The goal is to integrate directly a 3d visualization window into the Web interface of exentra product dedicated to product structure management, hence boosting the end-user experience for mastering complex products with multiple configurations. Customers like Audi or EDAG will benefit directly for the publication and management of 3D data in technical field, accessible through Web browsers.

« TFTLabs teams bring us expertise and mature high-end 3D solutions. So far all visualization in our system was done by exporting structures to CATIA V5 or Pro/E. Switching to TFTLabs will bring the best-of-breed solution for our large industrial customers, especially in automotive industry where complex 3D visualization is key.» says Marko Hirsch, exentra CEO.

« We are delighted to combine our skills with exentra to propose together an innovative 3D solution to manage high-level industrial projects. The flexibility and cost-effectiveness of our Web solution is a key differentiator compared to traditional desktop products» adds Francois Chrétien, TFTLabs CEO.

exentra GmbH, based north of Munich, Germany develops, markets, and supports “ exentra rpi framework” software to import several data sources of product data, historicize and recombine them using a meta-database technology.
