Vero Software has appointed a Master Distributor in China for its WorkNC brand of CAM software.
The agreement was signed in Mâcon, Burgundy, at WorkNC's French development centre, by General Manager Mr Simon Lee, and Mr Aterf YU, owner and General Manager of Shanghai Qianghu Information Technology Co Ltd.
Mr. YU and his team have been representing WorkNC in China for over 10 years through different reseller channels. In 2007, convinced of the need and the potential in the Chinese mouldmaking industry for the high-level machining capabilities of WorkNC, they set up their own company, Shanghai Qianghu Information Technology Co Ltd, wholly dedicated to the sale and support of WorkNC in China.
Qianghu has a long track record of sales both to major international automotive accounts and to private Chinese companies and is widely recognized in the industry for the quality of their engineering staff and after-sales service.
Commenting on the new Master Distributor agreement, Simon Lee says: "We are confident that Qianghu will make a very significant contribution to our WorkNC business in China, and that they will continue to provide first-class support to all our customers. With WorkNC in expert hands, our subsidiary office in Shanghai will concentrate on Marketing support to Qianghu and will be focusing on building up our Dental business in China."
After meeting with the Marketing and R&D teams in France to discuss plans for further expansion of WorkNC in China, Mr YU indicated: "We are very proud and honoured to have been selected by Vero Software to be the Master Distributor for WorkNC in China. We are convinced that WorkNC is the ideal product for the Chinese mouldmaking industry and that we have the full backing of the Vero teams to support the needs of the Chinese market."
