Boundless Supports NSGIC as Silver Sponsors

Conference Highlights Emerging Geospatial Challenges for State and Local Governments

New York, NY. — February 25, 2014 — Boundless, formerly OpenGeo, is pleased to announce their support for the National States Geographic Information Council’s ( NSGIC) midyear meeting with a silver level sponsorship. This is the second year Boundless has supported NSGIC, an organization that works to improve how state and local governments use geospatial data and GIS tools. The midyear meeting runs from February 23 - 26, 2014 at the Loews Annapolis Hotel in Annapolis, Maryland.

Boundless strongly believes in NSGIC's mission of increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of government through adoption of modern geospatial technology. NSGIC members include nationally and internationally recognized experts in geospatial technology ranging from state geographic information system managers to representatives from federal agencies, local government, the private sector, and other professional organizations.

"NSGIC meetings are always a pleasure for us to attend and sponsor and the 2014 midyear is no exception,” said Boundless VP Ken Bossung . “It's especially interesting for us to hear the reports from other NSGIC members. We look forward to participating in those conversations to learn how our geospatial solutions can help meet the challenges of the NSGIC community.”

Boundless proudly counts several NSGIC members as OpenGeo Suite customers and also provides support and professional services to help manage members' geospatial deployments and statewide initiatives.
