A' Design Award & Competition announces the call for submissions to the International A' Graphic Design Award, open for entries of designers and creative professionals worldwide.

COMO, Italy, March 5, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Today, A' Design Award & Competition announced the call for submissions to the Annual International A' Graphic Design Award. The A' Graphic Design Award is a juried design competition open to entries of graphic design work from all regions and countries. The A' Graphic Design Award will recognize, highlight and promote the best graphic design works from both individual designers and graphic design companies worldwide. The A' Graphic Design Award is open to both functional graphic designs (typefaces, commercial posters, packaging, websites, interface-designs, page layouts, book designs, identity designs, signage) as well as artistic graphic works (posters, illustrations, concept art and other graphic art forms).

Entries to the A' Graphic Design Award will be evaluated by a 50-person jury panel of established academics, press members and design professionals. Artistic entries will be judged on criteria such as creativity, authenticity, timeliness of design, medium and techniques, ingenuity, originality, relevance and design quality. Functional graphic design projects will further be judged for their usability, technical quality, accessibility, legibility or readability. Entries will be peer-reviewed and anonymously voted. The decision of the jury shall be final.

There are five levels of distinction in A' Graphic Design Award: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron. The number of awards is based on the number of participants. Laureates of the A' Graphic Design Award will be invited to the exclusive gala-night and award ceremony in Italy to collect their trophies, design excellence certificates and yearbook of best designs. Award winning designs will also be exhibited in Italy, as well as online. Award winning designs will have their projects translated to twenty languages and communicated to tens of thousands of publications worldwide. Graphic design firms, advertising agencies, in-house design teams, creative agencies, freelance and institutional designers, publishers and design companies worldwide are invited to take part in the A' Graphic Design Awards by entering their best works. Submissions to the A' Graphic Design Awards can be made until March 28, 2014.
