TECTERRA Funds Additional $3.5-Million for Geomatics Growth in 2013-14

CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- May 27, 2014 -- TECTERRA Inc. announced today that it has committed nearly $3.5- million of funds supporting the geomatics technology sector in Canada during the last fiscal year ending on March 31, 2014. The year's commitment brings TECTERRA's to date investment commitment to the geomatics industry to over $29-million. The investment sum represents commitments to support geomatics companies and applied research projects for technology commercialization, new job creation and Highly Qualified Personnel (HQP) training and development across the country, with total matching private investments in the amount of $18.3-million toward the supported projects and initiatives.
