Milan, Italy, 27 May 2014 ---- AEG Power Solutions S.p.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of AEG Power Solutions Group, announced today that it has changed its company name to 3W Power S.p.A and will operate in Italy under that name effective immediately.

Due to a change of licensing policy, AEG Power Solutions no longer uses the AEG name for all those entities that adopted the brand in or after 2010, such as its subsidiary in Italy. Instead AEG Power Solutions named the Italian subsidiary after the holding company 3W Power to make the relation to the group visible.

3W Power S.p.A has a strong heritage in telecommunications power systems. In 1993, the company was established in Milan as a division of Alcatel, and after being divested in 2005 became part of the AEG Power Solutions Group. With a staff of 40, the company is now marketing the full range of AEG Power Solutions’ industrial and commercial UPS systems in Italy, in addition to the historical range of DC telecom systems.
