Sumitomo Electric Introduces Next Generation GaN HEMTs for Space at IMS2014

SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- Jun 03, 2014 -- Sumitomo Electric Device Innovations USA, Inc. (SEDU), a leading provider of advanced RF, wireless and optical communications solutions, will showcase next generation GaN devices for space applications at IMS2014, June 3-5 at the Tampa Convention Center, Tampa, FL. GaN provides the benefits that space applications require such as operation at much higher temperatures, higher power added efficiency, wider bandwidth than GaAs all the while reducing overall operational cost.
