New Software: Software Cradle Co., Ltd. Releases New SC/Tetra and scSTREAM Beta Versions

On May 26, 2014, Software Cradle Co., Ltd. released a new beta version of SC/Tetra and scSTREAM/HeatDesigner (V12RC1). Additional information can be found below and at http://www.cradle-cfd.com/.

Software Cradle is a leading provider of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software including SC/Tetra (general purpose unstructured mesh), scSTREAM (general purpose Cartesian mesh), and HEAT Designer (Cartesian mesh for electronics).   Since inception in 1984, Cradle has established itself as a major innovator that is advancing the role of simulation in engineering design.  Their software products are well known for ease of use, exceptionally fast and powerful meshing, efficient solvers, sophisticated physical models, and professional post processing.  Cradle's worldwide presence consists of offices in Japan, North America, France, and a network of distributors servicing and supporting all parts of the globe.

Although RC1 is officially supported, please note that there are some differences between RC1 and official release as follows.

* Based on the opinion of test use, some commands and specification of commands will be changed at the official release.

* Part of the reference of User’s Guide is not fixed yet. Contents of other User’s Guides are same as V11.

* Example data of V12 is not included. Please get data from V11 folder.

Especially for examples of VB interface, the arguments of CreateObject method in V12 program modules should be changed from 11 to 12.

Ex. [Create Object (SCTpost_Sx64net.Application. 12) ]

* The monthly program update is not available for RC1.

If you find any problems, please contact your sales representatives.
