Des Plaines, IL. July 7, 2014 -- URISA has another active week planned during the Esri International User Conference in San Diego next week, July 14-18. In addition to staffing an exhibit booth (#516) where current and prospective members can learn about URISA educational events, visit with URISA leaders, and find out ways to get involved, URISA’s GISCorps and GIS Management Institute will have a strong presence throughout the conference:

• URISA's GISCorps will have a special display in the Sail Area on Monday evening during the Map Gallery where volunteers and core committee members will be on hand to discuss the past year’s missions and opportunities for involvement. Don’t miss the annual URISA GISCorps presentation during the conference for an in-depth look at some of the key missions. Join us on Thursday, July 17 from 12:00 Noon-1:00 PM in SDCC, Room 27A.
  
  
• Past President, Greg Babinski, GISP will present “Use URISA's GIS Capability Maturity Model for Improved GIS Management” which will provide detail about URISA’s GIS Management Institute®. The session  will take place in SDCC, Room 03, also on Thursday, July 17 from 10:15 AM-1:00 PM.
