He has more than 15 years of remote sensing experience, including high-resolution topographic and bathymetric LiDAR data. As a senior scientist, he works seamlessly with both engineers and GIS specialists to support Dewberry's floodplain mapping activities in various communities in Georgia and throughout the nation. He is currently the deputy task order manager and a subject matter expert for three FEMA-funded coastal Risk MAP projects on the west coast of Florida, utilizing two-dimensional storm surge and wave modeling to update FEMA Flood Insurance Studies. He earned his bachelor’s degree in marine meteorology from North Carolina State University.
