Eagerly awaited performance improvements, increased interoperability, automatic data checking and 3D PDF publishing all included in Theorem Solutions’ latest release of CADverter v17.2 for CATIA V5-V6R2014 (R24)

02 Oct 2014- Theorem Solution’s latest release of their CADverter 17.2 software for CATIA V5-V6R2014 (R24) of now supports Siemens NX 9 and PTC’s Creo Parametric Suite of products to Creo 2.0

These latest CATIA V5-V6R2014 (R24) CADverters which include Theorem's popular Multi-CAD and Publish 3D suite of products improve performance and robustness for all users.

This latest version of Multi-CAD allows users to work interactively with native JT, NX and PTC Creo Parametric data from within an active CATIA design environment, eliminating the requirement for external translations. The Multi-CAD CADverters check geometry for errors and then validates the integrity of the data as it comes into CATIA. Multi-CAD also tracks changes and updates the master model as each sub-assembly is developed.

Theorem’s Multi-CAD CADverter for CATIA V5-V6R2014 (R24) provides the user with the highest possible levels of interoperability with JT, NX and Creo files or assemblies.

CADverter 17.2 also supports CATIA V6 3DEXPERIENCE Platform (R2014x) and Multi-CAD CADverter for JT, NX and PTC’s Creo Parametric.
Adding real value to the package is the clever inclusion of Theorem’s Publish 3D suite of products for CATIA V5-V6R2014 (R24) – Publish 3D InteractivePublish 3D On Demand and Publish 3D Automated, allow companies to easily create and share PDF documentation containing embedded interactive 3D data published directly from native CAD data.  Published interactive 3D models contained within a standard PDF document can then be viewed and interrogated. Components within assemblies can be turned on and off, shaded and rendered for technical authoring and viewed as either a solid, wireframe or even cross-sectioned, all using the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Also included in this latest release is a more traditional mix of uni and bi-directional CADverters for JT, NX, PTC’s Creo Parametric and CreoView.
CADverter 17.2 for CATIA V5-V6R2014 (R24) is available to existing Theorem users with a current maintenance agreement, as well as to all new customers and unmaintained customers on attractive upgrade terms.

Theorem's commitment to keep pace with the latest releases of CATIA V5 is based on its use of application development utilities provided and supported by the Dassault Systemes themselves. This not only ensures parallel development of new CADverter products, but also completes compatibility with fast-evolving and increasingly capable product development systems found in CATIA V5.
