Oct 21, 2014 -- GIS company GGP Systems is launching a series of annual user group meetings to be held around the UK. The company has revamped their annual customer events with a new look agenda which includes an introduction to key personnel, demonstrations of new technology - including the recently launched GGP GIS 2014, as well as an introduction to INSPIRE the EU Directive for data sharing. Delegates will also have the opportunity to network over refreshments with other geoinformation professionals. The changes coincide with a period of expansion at the Croydon based company, including a new management team and new offices.
The first GGP User Group meeting will take place on Wednesday 19th November 2014 at the Nuneaton and Bedworth Council offices in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. All existing clients and potential users of GGP’s GIS and Gazetteer Management solutions are welcome to attend.
“With so much going on, including new versions of existing software, new products and services and new members of the team, it is essential that we continue to effectively communicate with our loyal and growing customer base,” commented Tim Maxwell, founder and Managing Director of GGP Systems. “GGP’s User Group Meetings are a really good way to do this. These events are also an excellent opportunity for our users to come together to discuss current topics, share experiences and learn best practice.”
