UWA across USA campaign to go city by city clothing our less fortunate countrymen

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 21, 2014 — (PRNewswire) —  United We Art launches UWA across USA to go city by city giving a new shirt and reusable grocery bag to every homeless person within reach.

UWA will raise funds on such sites as Kickstarter and Indiegogo in order to use these crowdfunding platforms to benefit an entire community at a time, instead of just one person or entity. "We do this in order to enhance the American Culture through Brother Hood and Unity," says owner / operator Julio Gonzalez. UWA will blanket Austin, TX, their first city on the campaign trail, over the December 12-14th weekend, through means of a volunteered based street team.

United We Art takes Hand Carved art, created by local artists, and presses it onto American Made garments. They are completely Eco-Conscious, as there is no electricity involved in the pressing or drying process, and the ink is primarily Linseed Oil and derives from all natural minerals and pigments. Each design is Limited Edition and is only pressed up to 1000 times, and for this reason, every garment is individually numbered. To top it all off, UWA donates a shirt for every shirt sold, by giving the consumer a donation shirt for them to in turn give to someone in need.

United We Art has a huge emphasis on community. UWA across USA will find and showcase teen artists in every city they touch base in, and donate a portion of all money generated towards a scholarship to the school of their choice. "The youth are our future, and as such deserve a voice in our UWA across USA campaign, we start with you Sarah," states owner Julio Gonzalez, to 15 year old up and coming Austin Artist, Sarah Herman. "It's all about strengthening ourselves by caring for those of us that need it most, our less fortunate and our youth."
