With the introduction of MakerBot 3D printed products to Amazon, MakerBot is one of the most recognizable 3D printing brands to enter Amazon’s 3D Printing Store (for printed products) since it opened this summer. MakerBot was one of the first 3D printing companies to team with Amazon when it began to sell 3D printers and the addition of 3D printed merchandise is what MakerBot describes as a natural extension of this relationship.

“Offering MakerBot 3D printed products on Amazon.com is something we’ve been wanting to do for a while,” noted Jenny Lawton, acting CEO of MakerBot. “We are big fans of Amazon’s 3D Printing Store. Its ease and accessibility expands the availability of 3D printed products to numerous others around the world who might not have access to a 3D printer. We’re incredibly excited to share these creative pieces designed and 3D printed by the MakerBot team.”

The selection of 3D printed products available on Amazon.com includes popular designs from the MakerBot Digital Store and MakerBot Retail Stores. All of the MakerBot 3D printed products for sale on Amazon.com are 3D printed at MakerBot’s factory in Brooklyn, New York, and are 3D printed out of PLA, a safe, nontoxic bio-plastic derived from corn. Prices for the MakerBot 3D printed products range between $25 and $375 and are eligible for expedited shipment through Amazon Prime. MakerBot’s initial 3D printed product offerings will consist of:

  • MakerBot 3D Printed Piggy Bank
