Dec 1, 2014 -- Missler Software, author of the TopSolid family of integrated CAD/CAM/ERP software, and Machining Cloud GmbH, product data content provider for the digital shop, announce a new partnership under which the companies plan to work together to provide TopSolid users with direct access to product data and knowledge - 3d models, cutting conditions, tool parameters - from the world’s leading cutting-tool manufacturers.

This agreement will enable TopSolid users to rapidly access directly these data during their part programming and machining simulation. Through the Machining Cloud, the cutting-tool manufacturer's descriptive, usage and geometric product data and application knowledge is always complete, up-to-date and readily available to be accessed anytime from any location and, or device. “By utilizing cloud technology and industry standards for cutting-tool data - including ISO 13399, GTC, STEP and MTConnect – together Missler Software and the Machining Cloud will provide a smooth, efficient flow of data from the cutting-tool manufacturers to the end users and their TopSolid software,” says Michael Taesch, Cloud Evangelist for the Machining Cloud GmbH.
Upon completion of the TopSolid Cloud Connection, the interface between the Cloud and TopSolid software, Missler Software’s customers will realize the following key benefits:
