This premier conference, which is organized annually by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, runs from January 20-23 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.

Point Blank is exhibiting at Booth #11366, specially engineered ballistic packages and carriers designed to answer the critical comfort needs of officers while providing optimal protective coverage. These latest models offer the lightest weight, most flexible and highest-performing capabilities certified to meet domestic and international standards such as the NIJ Standard-0101.06 and the FBI, DEA and German SK-1 protocols. Among them:

Alpha Elite™ Series: As the first body armor ever made with the Dyneema® Force Multiplier Technology by DSM, this system combines radically advanced polymer science with next-generation fiber technology and unique uni-directional engineering. The ballistic package is available in both NIJ Level II and Level IIIA versions and is considered to be the lightest and highest-performing body armor in the world to meet NIJ. 06 standards, based on rigorous independent testing. It offers extraordinary protection, flexibility, mobility and coverage; is highly effective against fragmentation; and has multi-hit and special-threat performance beyond FBI protocols. The Level II Alpha Elite is 20 percent lighter than the best competing models and the Level IIIA is 23 percent lighter and 31 percent thinner than the average of the best models in the industry. The Level II armor weighs just 0.63 pounds per square foot (psf) and the IIIA package is 0.87 psf.

The Alpha Elite Series is available in both the concealable Elite carrier from Point Blank Body Armor and the tactical Alpha-1 carrier from PARACLETE®. Both male and female versions are available and already the FBI and more than 40 tactical SWAT teams in North America have chosen the ballistic package since its launch in 2014. It is uniquely suited to meet the needs of law enforcement, at a price that's easily affordable by virtually any agency. 

Concealable and Crossover Carriers: PBE's latest "Executive" concealable carrier (also called the "T-shirt Carrier") is designed to eliminate the edges of the vest from being visible, offering the ultimate in an ultra-covert carrier. It features a left and right side front zipper for easy donning/doffing and is made of stretch fabric for comfortable wear. The Executive is available with PBE's Alpha Elite and SP+2LE ballistic packages.

The Company also debuted, its "Guardian" and "High-Vis" crossover carriers. The Guardian is a front-opening, multi-purpose, light tactical carrier created especially for detectives and undercover narcotics agents. The vest features adjustable shoulders and side area, center zipper for trouble-free donning/doffing, internal plate pockets and MOLLE and slick configuration, among other attributes. In addition, the High-Vis offers officers working in highly-trafficked and congested environments enhanced personal safety through high-visibility materials. The vest includes adjustable shoulders and side area, center zipper for easy on/off, internal plate pocket and reflective tape, among other elements. The Guardian and High-Vis are available with all certified PBE ballistic packages.

Corrections: The Company is also showcasing its new generation of correctional armor available under the PACA brand. Specifically, its Cell Extraction Suit which is currently being used by agencies such as the New York City and Georgia Departments of Corrections is designed to provide unprecedented blunt force, edge blade and spike protection, along with maximum tactical capabilities.

Military: Further, the Company is previewing the next IOTV Gen 4 body armor system approved by the U.S. Army.

Hard Armor Product Lines: Attendees will have the opportunity to view Point Blank's expanded line of multi-hit protective inserts which deliver exceptional ballistic, spike and blunt trauma protection. These include: Special threats tested SPEED Plates that provide the ultimate lightweight protection against exotic rounds, as well as a variety of other hard armor plates capable of defeating high-powered Level III & IV rifle rounds, either in combination with soft body armor systems or as a stand-alone, including Models 10260, 20260, 30260 and 10079. The Company will also be showcasing new ballistic shields (Aspis, Bellator, Phalanx and Trifecta), its updated line of helmets for tactical, combat and riot, as well as a host of accessories (e.g. advanced breaching tools) for the law enforcement market.

New Offerings for New Markets

In partnership with Morgan Composites and Defense Systems, Point Blank debuted the new lightweight "bomb suit", which is available to U.S. law enforcement agencies exclusively through PBE. Integrating new technology, leading-edge materials and world class garment engineering, the ERGOTEC 4025 Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Suit combines the highest level of protection with dynamic user mobility required for successful EOD missions.
