CHGT Hires Technology Specialist to Lead Retail Strategy Rollout

HOUSTON — (BUSINESS WIRE) — February 19, 2015 — Emerging technology innovators  Changing Technologies, Inc. (CHGT) announced today that the company hired 3D printing specialist Adrian Valenzuela to guide its 3D printing subsidiary,  6thDimension Technologies (6D3D), through its aggressive product delivery goals for 2015.

Mr. Valenzuela comes to CHGT with a strong professional background in industrial 3D modeling and design, rapid prototyping and client relations. He also brings to CHGT more than a decade of experience in three-dimensional modeling and animation in the entertainment industry, giving the company a rare and unique combination of skills in a rapidly evolving new industry.

“We’re lucky to have Adrian,” said CHGT CEO Omar T. Durham. “We interviewed many candidates for this position who had deep experience in the field of 3D printing, and Adrian was our top pick. We will rely heavily on his artistic and technological expertise, as well as his extensive industry contacts, as we launch a suite of products and services this year targeting the growing market for 3D printing in the automotive, home appliance and printing accessories industries.”

CHGT subsidiary 6th Dimension Technologies (6D3D) was formed last year to develop and market high-quality, professional-grade on-demand 3D printed items at retail kiosks. 6D3D seeks to offer consumers the option to customize items from toys to aftermarket auto parts with  groundbreaking personalization options at convenient locations across the country.

Analysts predict that the demand for 3D printer materials and services will exceed $10 billion by 2018, registering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 43.8 percent over the next five years. With a $1.8 billion market value in 2013, the space is forecast for massive growth as the technology is further embraced by small and large scale manufacturers as well as the growing small business and mainstream consumer markets.
